Spiritual Education of Children

The Bahá'í program for the spiritual education of children consists of a multi-year sequence of lessons that teach children (ages five through eleven) essential moral and spiritual principles through stories, prayers, service, music, coloring, and games.

The Bahá'í community offers training to individuals (ages twelve through adult) who are interested in providing this spiritual education to children in their homes or other locations, or who are just interested in the Bahá'í teachings regarding children as spiritual beings.

“Certainly, certainly neglect not the education of the children. Rear them to be possessed of spiritual qualities, and be assured of the gifts and favours of the Lord.”      'Abdu'l-Bahá
